Welcome to our latest product updates with a full rundown of TransferMate’s latest, greatest, and most exciting product updates and feature releases. We’ve got plenty to share with you this month, so let's get started!

Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)

Our product team has introduced Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) as an additional measure to ensure data is unreadable during the transfer process and is secure end to end. In addition to our current security features, TransferMate and our partners will both set secure keys, private and public, that will be used to encrypt and decrypt the data.

SFTP ensures efficient and secure file transfers, all without sacrificing security or compliance.

Receivables API

The Receivables API allows partners to integrate directly into TransferMate for the receivables product without using the TransferMate portal. Similar to the Payments API, the benefit of this is that partners can design the full user experience and integrate the product directly into their software allowing the end-user to complete all requests to pay within the partner’s software.

Over the next few weeks, we will also be launching the ability to book the payment requests via API. Allowing our partners to fully design the user experience for both the biller and the payer.

Dual Authorization

As a direct result of customer feedback, we have enhanced the Dual Authorization feature for TransferMate users.

Previously, a payment could be both inputted and authorized by the same payment approver or master user. The latest improvements to the Dual Authorization feature make it a requirement that when any new payment is booked, a second payment approver (or master user) will also need to authorize the booking.

This feature is a self-service option, which can be enabled or disabled by a master user.

While initially this update will only be available for all outgoing Payments, it lays the foundation for a separation of duties control so that in the future Dual Authorization could be required for other processes (for example, when adding a new Beneficiary).

Notification Centre

Previously we only sent notifications via email for certain events. The new Notification Centre will also alert users in-product for the following events:

• Dual Authorization activated/deactivated
• New payment added
• First Authorization required
• Final Authorization required

These notification settings are a self-service option and can be turned on/off by each user.

Similar to Dual Authorization, this is initially just for outgoing payments, but again has the potential to expand into Notifications for other events.
