TransferMate has been approved under the Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX RAMP). This certification is a key step, particularly for our education partners, to collect and approve payments for universities and student housing providers in Texas. TX RAMP certification provides a comprehensive review of the security and privacy measures of services required by Texas state entities.

Texas is known for having some of the most stringent accreditation processes in the U.S., making the TX RAMP certification a significant achievement. It validates TransferMate's capabilities in Texas and opens the door to further state accreditation.

New Collection Capabilities in the Republic of Korea, Egypt, Turkey and South Africa

TransferMate has introduced new collection capabilities in the Republic of Korea, Egypt, Turkey and South Africa. These countries represent key markets for international student payments, and TransferMate’s latest offerings will allow for the collection of local currencies meaning the students can ‘pay like a local’ while we handle all the international money transfers.

By expanding our offering for students and institutions alike, the payment process is further simplified and offers significant savings on exchange rates. TransferMate continues to expand its global footprint, enabling educational institutions and housing providers to accept payments in local currencies and convert them efficiently within a transparent and fully regulated network.  

Updated Services in Pakistan, Nigeria, and Indonesia: Preferential FX Rates for International Students
