The Challenge

"We operate in over 150 countries, and our goal is to help clients hire everywhere where we can. Considering that, you have to manage multiple corridors and different currencies. Speed becomes a priority, as does quality of service. We run payroll operations, which is the most important payment of the month. You cannot mess it up. "Everything is through APIs. So, say, for instance, Client X processes payroll, from there, it goes to the workers, wherever they are. We get a webhook notification when a payment is processed and completed. It updates the transaction details on our platform, and that status is available to the worker in real-time."
Pay transparency was also a key benefit, ensuring workers knew how much they received and when they’d receive it. RemotePass can pull detailed reports, providing clear visibility over transactions. If discrepancies arise, their finance team is immediately notified.
"When our client prepares the payroll and says, 'Okay, I'm sending the funds,' even the worker is informed. So, they know they're expecting and not asking questions like, ‘Are we going to get paid on time?’. Once the transaction is confirmed, they know their money is being transferred immediately. Every payment that goes out includes a breakdown of how much fees were paid, the FX rate applied, and the source and target amount. That transparency is super important. And if there’s any discrepancy, our payment operations team is notified immediately."
